The invitation rested gently between her fingers as she stepped into the gallery.

A soft nudge against her leg told her it was time to move forward.

"Come on, Jasper," she whispered, smiling as her faithful guide dog led her through the crowd.

The room buzzed with conversation. Champagne glasses clinked and camera shutters clicked. Somewhere nearby, a model laughed before disappearing behind the runway curtains.

She knew what everyone else had come to see.
